BCP, DRP and solidarity: business continuity according to ODIGO

In our sector, customer expectations are constantly changing. The ability to remain operational in the event of an exceptional event, such as a technical incident, a disaster or even a strike, is now part of the expected commitments.

In this context, Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs) have become essential tools. They enable us to anticipate risks and put solutions in place to ensure the continuity of our activities.

At ODIGO Mouscron, these issues are taken very seriously. Our teams are constantly working to structure and develop these systems. But there is one reality that even the most sophisticated plans cannot predict: the unexpected.

Recently, two players in our sector were confronted with exceptional situations. One suffered a fire, the other had to deal with a strike that paralysed its business. In these critical moments, solidarity often makes all the difference. The teams at ODIGO Mouscron quickly rallied to support their colleagues and enable them to honour their commitments to their customers. This mobilisation was based not only on solid BCPs and DRPs, but also on a strong conviction:

„Our business relies as much on robust systems as it does on human values, such as mutual support between printers.“ Stéphane Caria, Business Unit Director Belux & France

The same approach was taken at the Tourcoing mailing site, within the ODIGO group. The teams quickly adapted to take over certain planned operations at affected partners, while providing constant support and reassurance to the concerned customers.

BCPs and DRPs are essential for structuring business continuity. But the ability to stick together often remains the best guarantee of success. We warmly thank all the teams for their commitment and mutual trust, which is also one of ODIGO’s strengths.

Optimising costs in a different way ? One of ODIGO’s strengths.

For its annual ‚Fall must-have‘ campaign, a major French garden centre chain turned to ODIGO to transform its customer communications. The goal was to send a personalised mailing with up to 30 promotional offers tailored to each consumer’s needs. Until then, the same offers had been sent to all customers. But is this still the best approach in terms of performance?

We analysed more than 15 years of receipt history to better understand purchasing behaviour and define specific segments. The goal? To send the right offers to the right customers. By working with the brand’s marketing department, we achieved very solid results.

Of the 5.4 million discount coupons sent out, 1.62 million were used, representing a redemption rate of over 30%.

Concrete proof that combining data, relevance, and proximity creates more engaging campaigns with a truly attractive ROI.

Optimisation and data go hand in hand

For a long time, reducing expenses meant finding the most economical paper possible or negotiating the lowest printing rates, but this logic has now reached its limits. Today, controlling budgets while maintaining the quality of supports requires a new approach: data.

At ODIGO, we help our clients go far beyond simple market segmentation. By analysing their databases and cross-referencing them with additional sources, we establish precise profiles, sometimes based on dozens of criteria: age group, geographic area, purchasing behaviour analysis, hobbies, type of housing, or affinities with other brands.

By adjusting targeting using data, ODIGO helps its clients reduce their mailing volumes while increasing the relevance and ROI of each campaign.

Using data, ODIGO helps companies invest in the right areas, communicate effectively with the right customers, and turn every contact into an opportunity. It’s a more strategic, more refined, and above all, more profitable approach.

As an expert in printing and data marketing, ODIGO helps its clients leverage their data and improve the performance of their campaigns. By combining technology, analysis, and support, ODIGO designs customised marketing solutions that optimise every customer interaction and transform data into a real growth driver. Press release

VPRINT and its subsidiaries (Vialto and i-Press) become ODIGO

Mouscron, 26/02/2025 — The VPRINT group, a major player in print management and large-scale customised printing, announces its name change to ODIGO.

This rebranding reflects the desire to bring all of the group’s activities (VPRINT, VIALTO and I-PRESS) under a single identity in order to offer a broader and more consistent range of services.

„This transition illustrates our ability to adapt to market developments and meet our customers‘ growing expectations for more integrated and effective personalised communication campaigns,“ says Benjamin Van Daele, CEO.

Origin of the name ODIGO

In ancient Greek, odigo combines hodos (path) and -igo (to guide). This new name embodies the group’s mission: to support its customers in their targeted communication strategies through innovative and tailor-made solutions. The infinity symbol, integrated into the new visual identity, represents the many possibilities offered to customers and partners.

„This change marks a key step in our growth and innovation strategy. It allows for greater synergy between our different areas of expertise and strengthens our position as a leader in print and cross-media communication solutions,“ adds Thierry Ngoma, Managing Director.

The name change, effective immediately, will be gradually rolled out across all of the group’s products and services throughout 2025.
The website www.odigo-dm.com presents the new visual identity and details all the services now offered.
